Write a poem for sparrows
Many a times, you must have seen the sparrow either close to your home or when you were on vacation. Just tell us in a few lines what you saw and observed. Who knows, your poetry could inspire others as well!
There are tales to be told and there are plenty of them to be narrated as well. By sharing them with us, you could actually be helping in the conservation and preservation of this bird. Come, be a story teller and in turn, save the sparrow. Share your experience of how by adopting nest boxes and bird feeders, you have been able to play a significant role in the conservation of sparrows. Additionally, you could also tell us about the various stories on sparrows for others to know.
Be a sparrow journalist
Being a sparrow reporter is very simple. All that it needs is reportage of events and chronicles to the NFS so we can publish them. Being journalists, you can also cover the activities that NFS undertakes. As a citizen, you could help circulate the NFS press releases and news in the local media. By writing, observing and reporting the latest tales about the sparrow, not only will you be a sparrow journalist, but will also help us at the NFS strengthen our campaign in saving the sparrow.
Sketch for sparrows
A picture, they say, speaks a thousand words. If you are gifted and illustrate well, why not draw, sketch or paint the sparrow? This way, not only will you hone your artistic skills, but you will also help us spread the word in saving the sparrow
Chirp and tweet
With an increase in social networking sites, you too can post updates and your thoughts on our Facebook and Twitter page. Along with NFS, come; make the sparrow a celebrity of sorts! It would be great if you could also like our Facebook page and share the NFS posters on the wall of the networking site.
